Isleta-Voladoras Pump Stations and Trunk Sewer System

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The project involved designing three wastewater pump stations, their corresponding force mains, and implementing gravity sewer enhancements necessary for transporting wastewater from the existing sanitary sewer to the newly proposed pump stations. The force mains play a crucial role in delivering the collected wastewater to the Moca sanitary sewer system. The project design included the preparation of construction documents for the following facilities:

(1.) Three wastewater pump stations with capacities of 1,000, 600 and 450 gallons per minute including all the required civil, structural, mechanical and electrical work.

(2.) 2.2 miles of force mains with diameters up to 12 inches.

(3.) 3.2 miles of gravity sewer lines with diameters ranging from 8 inches to 18 inches.

(4.) Restoration of existing roads.

(5.) Modification of the existing sanitary sewer system.

(6.) Relocation of existing utilities to allow for the installation of the proposed pipelines. This project was funded by EPA’s Revolving Fund.
