Inspection Services for the Design and Build of the Gilberto Concepción de Gracia School Modernization Project–School for the 21st Century Program

This project involved providing design services for the modernization of the Gilberto
Concepción de Gracias School in the Municipality of Carolina, as part of the PR
Infrastructure Finance Authority – School for the 21st Century Modernization Program.
The proposed enhancements encompassed a comprehensive renovation of existing
buildings, including structural retrofits, improvements to the electrical power system,
mechanical and ventilation systems, fire alarm and control systems, and plumbing systems.
Additionally, the project entailed the construction of three new academic buildings, along
with site and infrastructure work for the entire complex. SMP Construction was the
contractor for this project.
